Eight years have passed since the debut of “UPMGV-01UT Guyver I,” a masterpiece celebrated for its intricate sculpting. This new statue revives that iconic figure in colors inspired by the original comic. With Guyver I radiating raw energy and the defeated Zoanoid Ramotith lying lifeless beneath, the composition still captures the quiet aftermath of battle—only now with a look that feels both nostalgic and new.
The vivid cyan armor takes cues from later cover illustrations and art books. Gradients on the shoulders, chest, and thighs add depth and shadow, while the Control Metal shines in a plated silver finish. Subtle metallic paints bring a muted glow to the fibrous musculature. Each organic part is carefully painted to reflect the bold contrast of Yoshiki Takaya’s original artwork. Even the flowing blood from Ramotith’s wounds evokes the raw intensity of a full-color manga spread.
