Very good late summer and fall growth. Typically winter kills this variety. Great for forage or grain. The oat plant is a cereal grain grown for its seed. It is an annual grass adapted to fall planting/mid-summer harvest or spring planting/late summer harvest. One of the most common uses of oats is feed for livestock, especially horses and cattle. It is considered a very good forage source. Planting Rate: 74-120 lbs per acre.
